Ajang Pamer Aneka Kuliner Bandung

Bandung dikenal sebagai Kota Jasa yang warganya memiliki kreatifitas tinggi. Menyadari akan hal itu, Walikota Bandung Ridwan Kamil menggelar acara bertajuk Braga Culinary Night dengan menutup ruas jalan Braga. Melalui gelaran acara tersebut, makanan tradisional seperti Cireng, es lilin aneka rasa, bandrek – bajigur tersaji dengan kemasan dan penawaran yang unik, menggelitik.

Simak saja misalnya di Saung Mang Odong. Bandrek – Bajigur dipelesetkan dengan istilah budak pendek gede bujur (anak bertubuh pendek yang berbokong besar). Atau “ciu” yang merupakan singkatan dari aci jeung cau (aci=tepung, cau= pisang) pisang bertepung atau yang dikenal dengan pisang goreng.

Es Lilin “Kita-Kita” yang menawarkan aneka rasa seperti strawbery, nangka, mangga, jambu biji, anggur, melon, kacang ijo, ketan hitam, cikelat, durian, sirsak, jagung, kismis. Hanya dengan Rp5.000,-/buah, pengunjung dapat menikmati sajian es yang telah melegenda itu.

Juga aneka makanan dari durian yang tersaji di gerai Mc Duren. Di sini pengunjung dapat menikmati lezatnya sop durian dan ketan durian dan masih banyak lagi makanan tradisional lainnya yang dikemas dengan sangat kreatif.

Iklan Papan Tulis

 Tak sebatas itu. Kreatifitas pedagangnya pun terwujud melalui papan iklan yang dipasang di setiap gerai. Ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris yang unik di atas sebuah papan tulis. Alat tulisnya cukup kapur tulis. Namun kesannya menjadi mahal karena meskipun orientasinya internasional namun tetap mengakar pada alat tulis tradisional. Meski demikian tidak sedikit pedagang yang mengiklankan barang dagangannya di sebuah tenda modern dalam balutan yang modern pula.

Acara yang digelar pada minggu kedua Maret 2014 itu juga menyajikan panggung hiburan. Bagi pecinta musik juga tersaji Panggung Jalanan yang merupakan ajang bagi pemusik jalanan. Irama country, reggae hingga lagu-lagu Iwan Fals tersaji dengan syahdu dan mendapat sambutan antusias dari para pengunjung.

Konsep sajiannya juga tidak mengubah tampilan para musisi jalanan yang biasa ngamen di bus-bus, restoran dan sebagainya. Usai menyanyikan sebuah lagi ada petugas khusus yang mengedarkan kotak sumbangan sukarela tanpa ada sindiran atau ancaman bagi yang tidak menyumbang. Semua dilakukan dengan ikhlas sehingga penonton dibuat menjadi nyaman menyimak kreatifitas musisi jalanan tersebut.

Braga Culinary Night, menjadi pilot project bagi festival serupa yang akan digelar di beberapa titik setiap sabtu malam. Upaya tersebut dimaksudkan selain untuk mengurangi kemacetan di Kota Bandung, khususnya di saat weekend,  juga menjadi ajang kreatifitas warga Bandung. Hangout Puncak Gedung, Tertinggi di Jakarta 

Hangout di puncak gedung tinggi di Jakarta, belakangan ini menjadi trend di kalangan anak muda ibukota. Karena itu tak mengherankan jika resto semacam ini mulai bermunculan. Sebut saja Shy Rooftop, Shelter Sky hingga The Edge di area Kemang Icon.

Namun pemunculan SKYE Bar & Restaurant yang terletak di Lantai 56 Gedung Menara BCA, Jalan MH Thamrin No.1, Jakarta Pusat, memunculkan sensasi baru yang sangat berbeda.

Betapa tidak, di ketinggian 230 meter dari permukaan tanah, pengunjung dapat menikmati senja di ibukota (city view) terlebih ketika langit Jakarta yang berwarna kemerahan, berpadu dengan lampu-lampu gedung, jalan serta billboard berukuran besar dalam aneka warnanya.

Untuk mememunculkan kesan nyaman bagi pengunjung, SKYE didisain dalam dua area, indoor dan outdoor. Area Indoor ditandai dengan dominasi elemen kayu dan dinding bebatuan.    Set meja kursi kayu serta sofa berwarna biru langit, menciptakan suasana tenang dan elegan. Area tersebut sangat cocok untuk pertemuan bisnis, atau mengobrol intim dengan kekasih.

Sedang area outdoor menyajikan suasana yang berbeda. Area ini sangat cocok bagi pengunjung yang hanya sekedar bersantai ditemani semangkuk cocktail atau minuman lainnya. Mini pool yang terletak di pinggir atap gedung, merupakan cirinya.

Ruang utamanya yang bersebelahan dengan bar, ditata sebagaimana layaknya ruang tamu. Ada heritage mood di sana-sini. Like those American classics. Pot-pot gantung di beberapa titik. Di sebelah bar terdapat beberapa private seatings. Satu ruangnya dapat menampung 5-10 orang.

Menu yang tersaji di SKYE merupakan makanan fusion yang cara pembuatannya berasal dari berbagai negara, namun telah disesuaikan dengan lidah Indonesia. Tersaji makanan khas Meksiko seperti Seabass Taco, Roti Tortilla.

Masakan oriental seperti Stir Fried Beef, kwetiauw. Sedang menu utama yang ditawarkan yakni Butterfish Tagine. Terdiri dari tiga potong ikan 'butterfish' dilumuri saus gurih dan dimakan bersama nasi ala Maroko dan sour cream.

Sedang minuman yang tersaji diantaranya Midnight Tango, Forget Me Not yang terdiri dari mocktail rasa blueberry dengan campuran lemon atau Apple Virgin Mojito. Harga makanan dipatok mulai dari Rp 60 ribu, Sedang minuman mulai dari Rp 40 ribu. ** Sapto (dari berbagai sumber).
